Project Finance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets for ongoing projects in the team.  
  • Track project costs, capital expenditures (CapEx), and operational expenditures (OpEx).  
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast financial needs and flag variances.  
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for technology portfolios.  
  • Process and validate vendor invoices, purchase orders, and contract payments.  
  • Coordinate with procurement and legal teams for vendor onboarding and contract management.  
  • Reconcile financial data with accounting systems and project management tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Jira).  
  • Help develop dashboards and reports for leadership visibility into project financials.  
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and audit requirements. 

Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. 
  • 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or project coordination (preferably in tech or IT project environments). 
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in financial modelling and data analysis. 
  • Familiarity with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and project tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira). 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
