Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Resident Engineer specializing in SD-WAN and Zscaler technologies to support enterprise network security and connectivity operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, and support of secure network infrastructure across enterprise environments.
This role requires strong technical expertise in SD-WAN architecture, cloud security platforms, network troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication to ensure stable and secure network performance.
Key Responsibilities
SD-WAN & Network Operations
- Deploy, configure, and maintain SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity to ensure optimal operations.
- Troubleshoot network, routing, VPN, and connectivity issues within LAN/WAN environments.
- Perform configuration, upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support firewall, routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure when required.
Zscaler Administration & Security
- Implement and manage Zscaler solutions including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access).
- Configure security policies, access controls, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and authentication integrations.
- Troubleshoot user access, cloud security, and policy-related issues.
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Incident & Support Management
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for network and security-related incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution for escalated issues.
- Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers during troubleshooting and implementation.
- Maintain proper documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, incident reports, and change records.
Project & Improvement Initiatives
- Participate in network migration, enhancement, and implementation projects.
- Recommend improvements for network security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Assist in testing and validating new technologies and solutions.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in network engineering, SD-WAN, or cybersecurity support.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Experience supporting Zscaler platforms such as ZIA and ZPA is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing & Switching
- SD-WAN technologies
- Firewall and network security concepts
- Cloud security and Zero Trust architecture
- Familiarity with:
- Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, or related networking products
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Microsoft Active Directory and SSO integrations

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
