Design and implement network architecture including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets, extranets, and other data communication systems
Develop and document network failover, redundancy, and disaster recovery plans
Resolve complex network issues and troubleshoot network systems
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices and services
Ensure the network security and protect data from unauthorized access
Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal speed and availability
Perform network model simulations and predictions to anticipate possible issues
Stay up-to-date with network technology trends and developments
Work with other team members to integrate new technologies into existing network infrastructure
Comply with industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Network Architect or similar role
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g., Python, Perl)
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
Proficiency in network architecture and infrastructure
In-depth understanding of communication protocols and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
