Network Consultant Engineer

Description:

• To support on aspects of Data Center network, Campus network, SDA/DNAC, Wireless/WLC, SDWAN, Enterprise Security (FW/FPR, ISE, SSE, SNA, WSA, ESA, DUO, etc.), UCS compute and Hyperflex hyperconverged systems.
• To interpret client needs, assess the full requirements, and identify suitable solutions.
• Produces architectural network designs for large-scale networks.
• Executes all phases of project delivery including plan, design, network staging, implementation, migration, testing, handover, etc.
• Builds simulated networks in test labs to validate the design and solution, and to resolve complex problems and integration/compatibility issues.
• Provides remote or onsite deployment support.
• Performs troubleshooting, Analysis and Diagnosis of complex DC, Campus network infrastructure, Security related solutions and Compute infrastructure.
• To provide Day-2 support and troubleshooting service for the infrastructure related incidents and problems.

Requirements:

• Understanding of and experienced in design and implementation of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solution – ACI/Nexus/NDI/NDFC.
• Understanding of Data Center architectures, experience in planning, design & implementation of Data Center infrastructure.
• Understanding of Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) architecture/solution and experienced in design and implementation of SDA solution that includes DNAC, Wireless, ISE, Catalyst Center, etc. Know the differences between traditional wireless and SDA wireless, experienced in configure device profiling, authorization policy, etc. in Cisco ISE.
• Understanding of and experienced in design and implementation of Cisco SDWAN solution. Understand vManage/vSmart/vBond/vEdge and OMP routing protocol. Understand centralized / local policy configuration via vManage. Understand how zero touch provisioning work in SDWAN.
• Understanding of and experienced in design and implementation of Cisco security solutions – FW/FPR, ISE, SSE, SNA, WSA, ESA, DUO, etc.
• Experienced in design and implementation of Catalyst series switches (3560/3750/4500/6500/9000) and Nexus 7000/5000 switches.
• Experienced in design and implementation of Cisco compute infrastructure, UCS platform, Hyperflex hyperconverged systems, Nutanix, InterSight, etc.
• Experienced in Day 2 incident support and the ability to perform highly technical L1, L2 and L3 troubleshooting to determine root cause of software or hardware failure issues.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, Effective consulting and communication skills
• Demonstrated industry awareness
• Preferably having 3 to 5 years of hands-on working experience for any of the Cisco solutions mentioned above.
• CCIE in any technology domain (R/S, DC, etc) preferred as an added advantage.
