You’ll have 2 years of experience in providing dedicated IT support, particularly end-user support, the team shall demonstrate strong technical proficiency across Windows, Linux, and macOS, coupled with knowledge of information security principles. Ability to learn to support specialized scientific applications is a plus. Collectively, the team shall possess advanced troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux (Ubuntu, Redhat), strong knowledge of networking concepts, and experience in handling complex technical escalations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate would be advantageous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Personnel must demonstrate professional communication competency (written and spoken English), customer service, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
i. End-User Computing Devices (EUCD, e.g. Windows Desktops\/Laptops, Apple Mac),<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ii. Common desktop applications, but not limited to: Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office \/ Microsoft 365, Internet Browsers (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox), Adobe Reader, Java Runtime Environment (JRE), Intranet web-based applications, including A*RES internal applications, SAP ERP Systems (e.g., S\/4 HANA, ARIBA, SuccessFactors), Anti-virus software, VPN software, Wireless connectivity software, Patch Management Software, Other Applications (e.g., Virtual Desktops and other enterprise tools)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
iii. Handheld Computing Devices including but not limiting to iPads, Tablets, Smart Phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
iv. Accessories for Computing Devices including but not limiting to Port Replicators, Docking Stations, Web Cams, DVD\/Blu-ray Burners, Kensington locks, Card Readers, Power Adaptors, Input Devices such as Keyboards, Mouse, Digital Pens, Handheld Scanners<\/p>\n\n\n\n
v. External LCD Monitors<\/p>\n\n\n\n
vi. Personal and Network Printers, Label Printers, Document Scanners<\/p>\n\n\n\n
